VISIT & REGISTER AT OUR MODELS
Charleston Homes offers nine floor plans that are built to meet a variety of tastes and budgets. We encourage you to visit our models and complete a registration card with the Sales Agent on duty, so that you may better envision your perfect home.
PREVIEW APPOINTMENT AT OUR DESIGN STUDIO
During this step, you will meet at our Design Studio where the Design Studio Specialist will give a brief tour. With numerous exterior and interior options to choose from, customization of your beautiful Charleston Home couldn’t be simpler.
PRE-APPROVAL WITH THE LENDER
The financial success of our customers is important to us. We have relationships with Omaha’s top lenders, who we are confident will be able to assist you in purchasing your new home. A pre-approval allows you to establish your new home budget and move on to the next step.
PRICE OUT AND LOT SELECTION
A high-quality home must also come with a high-quality environment. Charleston Homes can build in custom neighborhoods across the Omaha metro area, and we even own lots in several subdivisions. Each of our Sales Agents are experienced in helping you find the right lot in the right neighborhood.
SELECTIONS REVIEW APPOINTMENT
The beauty of a Charleston home is that you will easily be able to personalize your new home with a number of exterior and interior options to choose from. This will be the first one-on-one appointment at the Design Studio where the Design Studio Specialist will assist you in making all color selections.
PURCHASE AGREEMENT
To ensure that your choices are fully understood and properly carried out, our next step will be the purchase agreement. The purchase agreement will specify floor plan, custom selections, and the price of your new home. Our experienced Sales Agents are here to guide you through the process.
FINAL OPTIONS SELECTION
You will meet with your Sales Agent to review and finalize all options you’ve chosen for your new home! This is the last opportunity to ensure you’re getting the home of your dreams.
FINAL COLOR SELECTION
You will meet with the Design Studio Specialist to review and finalize all colors selections you’ve chosen for your new home.
PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING
Before construction begins, a Charleston Homes Production Team Member will guide you through the entire construction process, in order to keep you involved every step of the way. We also visit your selected lot to affirm your expectations of our building process.
HOME CONSTRUCTION PROCESS
This is when you get to sit back and let us do all the work! From the products we use, the way your home is designed, the scheduling, and daily site inspections, we have the most comprehensive home building process in Omaha. As always, our priority during this process is communication. Our Sales Agents will update you continuously on the status of your home.
WALKTHROUGH & SIGN OFF
One of our top priorities is your satisfaction; we want to be positive that your purchase agreement has been honored and that you are happy with your new custom-built home. When your home is near completion, we will take you on a room-by-room tour to demonstrate the quality features and operating procedures for all aspects of your home. Any items from your Walkthrough will be completed and signed off by you before you close.
CLOSING YOUR NEW HOME
Closing on your scheduled date is something Charleston Homes takes pride in. We fully understand that this is your home, and having a date to depend on is critical. Our goal is that, as you look back on the previous months, you will realize how easy it was to build a Charleston Home!
WARRANTY
We stand firmly behind our time-tested process and the homes that we build. Warranty work is done by the same contractors who build your home. You will have full access to our customer portal. Here you will find interactive tools like your warranty manual, helpful videos, FAQ, emergency contacts, search features and the ability to track service requests. Once you are all settled into your new home, about 60 days after you’ve closed, we will check in with you to answer any questions or take care of any concerns you may have. Eleven months after closing, we reiterate our commitment to satisfaction by again taking the time to address questions or concerns, and handle any required warranty work. Above all, we want you to be pleased with your experience. Even as we finish construction and complete the closing phase, we know the building process isn’t truly complete. Once we pass this house on to you, it’s your turn to begin building the life you want in the home of your dreams, and we are determined to provide a Charleston Home that measures up.
